Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for temperature control of ink liquid and to always keep a constant recording quality, by a method wherein temperature is detected, and a printing signal voltage, corresponding to a temperature property of a threshold voltage, is automatically applied to an ink liquid injector. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive element 13, such as thermisters and the like, are embedded in a lid 6 using a filler 14, such as silicon rubber. The heat-sensitive element 13 is connected to a drive circuit 15, and an output pulse (printing signal) 10 is produced in a manner to change corresponding to ambient temperature as shown in a curve in a drawing. Or, a printing signal, having an amplitude corresponding to a change in a threshold voltage a of a recording head resulting from the changes in ambient temperature, drives a piezo-electric vibrator 7. The printing signal compensates the temperature property of the piezo-electric vibrator 7 combined with a temperature property of an ink physical properties, and thereby a recording result can be always kept constant without being inluenced by ambient temperature. The device has the advantage of eliminating the need for a rising time at the starting of the device.
