Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply impact force applied from the rear of a pawl member for mounting the guard molding concentrically to the pawl member by forming grooved slits to a reinforcing rib supporting the pawl section at proper intervals.
CONSTITUTION: The reinforcing ribs 4, 5 are mounted to an inner circumference of the molding proper 1, and the pawl section 6 is shaped to the reinforcing ribs 4, 5 through integral molding. The slit sections A are formed to the reinforcing ribs 4, 5 at proper intervals. The slit sections A are composed of the slits 13a, 13b, which have the size of comparatively narrow width and are cut in various depth toward the inside from the edge sections of the ribs, and a slit 17 extending in the longitudinal direction of the ribs. The transmission of force applied from the rear of the pawl section for mounting the molding is prevented by the slit sections A formed to the ribs 4, 5, and force is applied positively only to the pawl section.
