Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent overheating of the solar heat collector by collecting solar heat absorbed by a heat collecting plate to a header by means of a heat pump and cooling the header. CONSTITUTION:The heat pipe and the header 4 are connected within a header case 5, and a space 11 is provided between a heat insulating material 10 and the header 4. This space 11 is connected to an air inlet pipe 6 and an air outlet pipe 7, respectively, through expansion valves 8 and 9. When the temperature of the header 4 rises up abnormally, the expansion valves 8 and 9 assume an opened state, and cooled outer air flows into the space 11 to cool the header 4. When the temperature of the header 4 is lowered, the temperature of the heat pipe is also lowered.
