Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain a smooth operation of a hydraulic clutch during rotation of an engine at a low speed by providing a clutch operating pressure oil passage of the engine with a pressure oil relief passage consisting of a drain passage provided with a pressure regulating throttle hole which can reduce the pressure of oil to a possible lowest level sufficient to allow transmission of an output power of the engine.

CONSTITUTION: A clutch pressure regulating valve 22 includes a clutch pressure regulating valve body 27, a buffer piston 38, an outer spring 3 and an inner spring 40. A lubricating pressure regulating valve 23 includes a lubricating pressure regulating valve body 41 and a spring 42. A buffer throttle valve 24 includes a buffer throttle valve body 43, a spring 44 and a throttle valve 45. Oil discharged from an oil pump 15 is admitted into a change-over valve body 26 through an inlet port 35 and is regulated in pressure by the clutch pressure regulating valve 27 whereafter it is distributed by a selector 21. Excessive oil then is further regulated in pressure by the lubricating pressure regulating valve 41 and is fed to a clutch bearing lubricating oil system. The excessive oil regulated in pressure by the lubricating pressure regulating valve 41 is then discharged into a drain tank 16 through an outlet port 37.
