Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled core material at high efficiency without breaking an adhesive by a method wherein an adhesive and a softening liquid are sequentially coated on the surface of a plate-formed blank material for molding, then the thus coated surface is covered with a mold releasing sheet and an intermediate member is laminated on the back side of the blank material, followed by hot molding.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a thermoplastic resin based adhesive L is coated by roll coater method or the like onto the surface of the plate-formed blank material 1 for molding which consisting of a natural material mixed with a thermosetting resin or the like. Then, in order to prevent the cracking of the part to be molded, the softening liquid (e.g., water or the like) is applied to the adhesive-coated surface. ON the other hand, a metallic net N which is an intermediate member and having gas permeability, water permeability and heat resistance is placed on a lower mold 2. Then, the blank material 1 is placed on the net N with the adhesive-coated surface directed upward, and the adhesive-coated surface is covered with a silicone rubber sheet Si or the like having a thickness of 2W3mm and serving for mold releasing. Thereafter, the laminate assembly is subjected to thermocompression bonding preferably by using molds 2, 3 in the conditions of 120W150°C, 10W30kg/cm2 for 60W120sec to obtain the objective core material.
