Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to enlarge sufficiently waterway in parallel with Venturi tube and to have a miniaturized and highly efficient pump by enabling to set a flange part through arrangement of flat part on the jet pump body.
CONSTITUTION: A plate-like flange 10 is set on a setting mouth 7 spirally joined with inlet of the nozzle waterway 1 and the body 6 of Venturi tube 3 through flat packings 8, 9 and a waterway is formed by a radial notch 17 on the screw part spirally joined with Venturi tube 3, wherein the notch 17 can be enlarged radially up to the screw part to fix flangege 10, resulting in obtaining a sufficiently large sectional area of waterway. If the waterway is set to the minimum degree in necessity, the body 6 can be miniaturized. The valve 16 is also opened and closed by balance between negative pressure on a peripheral rim of the nozzle 2 and negative pressure caused by absorption by a vane 13 at the time of jet pump being in operation. When the valve is opened, water pumping-up volume is increased to improve efficiency of the pump because well water is sucked in the vane 13 through the waterway 14.
