Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive electrophotographic receptor having enhanced photosensitivity and causing no environmental pollution by laminating a charge generating layer formed by dispersing a phthalocyanine pigment in resin and a charge transferring layer contg. an electron donating or accepting compound in >=2 layers. CONSTITUTION:On an electrically conductive support a charge generating layer is formed by dispersing a phthalocyanine pigment such as copper phthalocyanine in resin. On the charge generating layer a charge transferring layer contg. an electron donating or accepting compound or >=1 layer of a mixture of a phthalocyanine pigment with a compound for transferring charges is laminated. The applicable electron donating compound includes 2,5-bis(4'-diethylaminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole, tetrathiafluvalene and 1-phenyl-3-(p-diethylaminostyryl)-5-(p-diethylaminophenyl)- 2-pyrazoline. The applicable electron accepting compound includes 2,4,7-trinitro-9- fluorenone.
