Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the observation in an atmosphere of vacuum and high temp. possible by airtightly disposing outside cylinders and inside cylinders consisting of connecting bellows in-between to the outer side of an image guide and circulating a cooling medium between these cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Outside cylinders 6, 6' connected to bellows 4, 8 and inside cylinders 7, 7' connected to bellows 5, 9 are provided on the outer side of an image guide 30 having an objective lens 3 at the leading end, and an observing part 2 having an observing window 1 is airtightly connected to the leading end of the outside cylinder 6. A cooling medium fed in through a suction port 10 passes the inside of the cylinders 7, 7', then through between the cylinder 6 and the cylinder 7 and is delivered out from a discharge port 11. The image light entering through the window 1 is formed with image at a leading end surface 30a by the lens 3, and this image is monitored 17 via the image guide 30, a relay lens 14, a variable magnification lens 15 and an image pickup tube 16. Thereby, the observation in an atmosphere of vacuum and high temp. is made possible.
