Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the allowance range of the set value of delay time when a data is written on a track having a number larger than the prescribed track, by installing a delaying circuit that delays the working of an erasing head by a certain time. CONSTITUTION:When a data is written on a track having a number larger than the prescribed track, the write current control signal delivered from the host side is used as a control signal to be supplied to an enable terminal IN by a delaying circuit 6 via an inverter 5. An inverted write indication signal is supplied to a clock terminal C of the circuit 6. This write indication signal and an output Q of the circuit 6 are supplied to an exclusive OR gate 7, and an erasion signal is delivered from the gate 7. In such constitution, the output of the circuit 6 is set at H level by the control signal and the erasion signal, and the erasion signal is delivered with delay of a certain time. The delay time of the circuit 6 can be set at about half of all trackes to increase the range of the set value of delay time.
