CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 5 receives a recording instruction from a host device via an instruction input terminal 8, and stores a targeted sector address in the address memory 6 transiently. And the control circuit 5 calculates an area required for the recording of new data, and executes the erasure and the recording of a corresponding area, and furthermore, other than that, draws out the sector address scheduled to be erased of the area receiving the erasure instruction of the data from the address memory 6 and executes the erasure instruction. In such a way, it is possible to shorten the time required for the erasure and the recording of the data.
