Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain comfortable air conditioning in rear seats in four seasons by arranging heat exchangers respectively outside, in the front, and in the rear of a car room for using two heat exchangers in the car room for refrigerant evaporation at the time of cooling and the rear heat exchanger for refrigerant condensation at the time of heating. CONSTITUTION:At the time of cooling, a refrigerant is conducted by the second three-way valve 12 and the first three-way valve 14 as arrows (a) show. The first heat exchanger 2 is used for a refrigerant condenser, while the second heat exchanger 4 and the third heat exchanger 5 are used for refrigerant evaporators. At this stage, the third heat exchanger 5 is intercepted by the first switch valve 6 at need. At the time of heating, compressed refrigerant is returned to a compressor 1 via the third heat exchanger 5 and the second heat exchanger 4 as dotted line arrows (b) show. The third heat exchanger 5 is used for a condenser, while the second heat exchanger 4 for an evaporator. The air passed through the second heat exchanger 4 is reheated by a heater 11, and blown off into a car room. This construction permits to obtain comfortable air conditioning in rear seats in four seasons.
