Abstract

PURPOSE:To determine whether a electric motors are normal or abnormal by detecting volume of electricity on both ends of impedances, by connecting one ends of a current detecting circuits, which are provided between switches and motors, in a common manner, and also by connecting the other ends through the impedances. CONSTITUTION:Hysteresis motors 1 (M1-Mn) being connected to a power source and switch (not described in the sketch) are provided with current transformers CT1-CTn, and one ends thereof are connected to a common bus-bar A, and the other ends are all connected to a bus-bar B through inpedances Z1-Zn. All the detected signals are taken out from the other ends (a, b...n points) of the impedances using a common bus-bar B as a COM line and given to a discrimination circuit 12. In case when all the motors are operating normally, potentials at detected points a, b...n are all equal to one another, but if an abnormality should occur, the potential at the detected point corresponding to the abnormal motor becomes different, and thid potential variation is detected by the discrimination circuit 12.
