Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate resonance phenomenon, to contrive to reduce noise and to enhance reliability of a variable speed AC motor by a method wherein an air duct is supported by struts stood on a base being separated from the motor body, and the air duct and the motor main body are connected interposing a vibration absorbing mechanism between them. CONSTITUTION:The struts 10 are stood on the base 13 being separated from the motor main body 1, and the air duct 2 is supported on the struts. The vibration absorbing mechanism 11 is interposed between the air duct and a startor frame 3 of motor to form a ventilation flue 12. Accordingly sufficient rigidity can be afforded to the air duct 2 and resonance phenomenon with the motor main body can be prevented, and destruction by fatigue and noise can be prevented.
