Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the generation of vibration and noise through preventing break-through phenomenon, and to prolong the life of dies, by permitting the male die to pause just before te completion of shearing.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft 6 is drived and rotated by the constitution composed of a moter, a flywheel, a clutch and a brake. With the rotation of the shaft 6, an arm 9 rotates, and a planetary gear 10 is revolved by the arm 9, and also is rotated on its axis by a sun gear 8. By the rotation and revolution of the planetary gear 10, a slide 14 is lowered and lifted by a cone rod 13. The slide 14 is stopped at the bottom dead point, by the action of the eccentricity of the eccentric shaft 11. The locus of the center of the eccentric shaft 11 at the neighbourhood of the bottom dead point is shifted by suitably selecting the eccentric extent of the sun gear 8, the planetary gear 10 and the eccentric shaft 11. In the above procedure, the breaking through phenomenon is prevented, and the generation of the vibration and noise is reduced during the shearing process.
