Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the adjustment of sensor circuits and the like without any additional means therefore by a method wherein a temperature related element adjustment is commanded to a microcomputer when the air conditioner having a test function on the temperature sensor information is in a test operation mode and the results are displayed in a temperature display.
CONSTITUTION: When a test operation switch is operated to put the air conditioner in the test operation mode, it is commanded to the microcomputer to adjust the temperature related elements in an A/D converter. The microcomputer, receiving information from a room temperature sensor or a temperature setting variable resistance into its random access memory in the form of binary data of a predetermined number of bits, makes ON or OFF of a light emitting diode located at the respective display positions of the temperature display. For example, the light emitting diodes are lighted orderly from smaller values of decimal figure shown in the table, and the variable resistance is stopped when the indication of the display enters the flashing state corresponding to a predetermined temperature. Thus, the adjustment is carried out simply without any additional device therefor.
