Abstract

PURPOSE: To make proper photometry possible in accordance with various photographic conditions by dividing a photometric range into a plurality of ranges so that respective light receiving devices corresponding to the divided are selectively operated in accordance with the photomatric pattern stored in advance.
CONSTITUTION: The photographic range of an object is divided into plural ranges, in which light receiving diodes 11a and so on constituting a light receiving device are arranged such that they correspond to the ranges, respectively. On the other hand, memories 13a and so on are stored with various photometric patterns. In case the memory 13a stored with the photometric pattern of the center is selected by means of a switch 14, switch elements 12a and so on are selectively controlled in accordance with the pattern information read out so operate the light receiving diode selected. This output is fed to an integrating circuit 20 so that the sum of the light received is integrated to generate a photometric value. Thus, in accordance with the photographic condition of the object, the proper photometry can be accomplished by varying the photometric conditions.
