Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate residual fluid when the path is changed, by switching over communications between in/outlets of four or more passages at the intersections of two or more passages for a liquid which solidifies when cooled.
CONSTITUTION: A heatmedium at high temperature is boosted by a pump 4 and supplied to the use end 5 through a main line 1 and a line switching valve 9. The high-temperature heatmedium which has diverged at the outlet of the pump 4 flows through a reserve line 2 to be sent back to the suction side of the pump 4 through the line switching valve 9 and a return line 10. When the line switching valve 9 is rotated by approx. 90°, the main line 1 is put into communication with the return line 10 leading to the suction side of the pump 4 while the reserve line 2 is put into communication with part of the main line 1 leading to the use end 5.
