Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce impact during starting and stopping and to enable high speed transfer and facilitate manufacturing by generating a mechanical epicycloid motion in combination with rotary parts and an arm.
CONSTITUTION: When an input arm 38 swigns from a motor 28 through a worm 33, a worm wheel 36, a speed reduction shaft 35, a gear 35a and a segment gear 39, a planet arm 41 also makes a swinging motion. Then, a gear 42 for the planet arm 41 is engaged with a solar gear 43, and revolves together, thereby making the planet arm 41 to rotate on its own axis. As the roller 44 is supported at the same position to a pitch circle of a gear 42, the roller 44 moves along the pitch circle. The center shaft for the roller 44 makes an epicycloid motion on the pitch circle of the solar 43 and the roller 44 rotates within the groove 48 of an output arm 47. Therefore, the output arm 47 also rotates an output shaft 24.
