Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly transfer a workpiece, by providing a roller in a position eccentric to a planet gear which rotates and revolves around a main rotary shaft and by sliding the roller in a groove extending in the radial direction of the main shaft, to rotate the shaft to drive a transfer bar. CONSTITUTION:A planet gear 12 is provided so that it rotates and revolves centering a main rotary shaft 9. The planet gear 12 is driven by a worm 20 and a worm wheel 14. A roller 17 is provided in a position eccentric to the planet shaft 15 of the gear 12 and is fitted in a groove 19 extending in the radial direction of the main rotary shaft 9. The roller 17 performs epicycloidal movement so that the main shaft 9 rotates at nonuniform angular velocity. A transfer bar is driven by the main rotary shaft 9. As a result, a workpiece can be transferred with low acceleration both at starting and at stoppage.
