Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically and safely measure hydrogen and oxygen in the container of nuclear reactor with a high accuracy at the time of losing cooling material, by sampling a small amount of sample at every prescried time and analyzing by using a gas chromatograph.
CONSTITUTION: Sampling gas in a housing container of nuclear reactor 100 is introduced into a gas chromatograph analyzer 8 passing through an electromagnetic valve 4 and pressure regulator 7 and is returned to the container 100 through a dehumidifier 14. On the one hand, carrier gas is sent to the analyzer 8 from a gas bomb 10. The valve 4 is automatically operated about once in 12hr. By this constitution, the sample is diluted by the carrier gas at the time of passing through a high temperature detection part and steam is treated in a stripper column. Hereby, it is secured from explosion and the measuring accuracy can be improved and the measurement is all performed automatically and safely.
