Abstract
PURPOSE:To analyze individual gaseous components even if gaseous hydrides co-exist by feeding the gaseous hydrides to a packed column, eluting the gaseous components successively and detecting the respective gaseous components by a constant potential electrolysis type gas detector. CONSTITUTION:A carrier gas CG is introduced into the column 14 and is after the gas is dehumidified and refined therein, the gas is introduced into a gaseous sample absorbing and holding column 20. The gaseous hydrides as the gaseous sample SG are introduced into an introducing line 26a and are measured by a measuring pipe 26. The measured gas is introduced into the column 20. The column 20 is maintained at a specified temp. and the respective gaseous components in the sample gas SG are adsorbed and held by the column 20, by which the components are successively eluted. The respective eluted gaseous components are guided to the constant potential electrolysis type gas detector 22, by which the changes in the output current are detected. The kinds of the gaseous components are specified from the peak positions of the chart and the concns. are decided from the heights and areas of the peaks. Since the constant potential electrolysis type gas detector is used, the kinds and concns. of the respective gaseous components in the gaseous hydride mixture are analyzed with high accuracy.
