Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for skill for the purpose of exposure determination by automatically judging the luminance for exposure operation according to the differences between the maximum and minimum values of multiphotometric outputs. CONSTITUTION:The multiphotometric outputs from a photometric circuit 10 are converted to luminance signals in a luminance operating part, and an maximum, average and minimum luminances are outputted from maximum value, average value and minimum value output circuits 13-15. Further, the intermediate luminance which is the average of the outputs of the circuits 14, 15 is outputted from an intermediate value output circuit 16. On the other hand, the output difference between the maximum and minimum luminances by the circuits 13, 15 is generated from a differential circuit 17, and is applied to comparators 18-21 of which the respective set values differ and of which the outputs invert to a high level when inputted with the values more than the set values. Switch circuits 22-24 are controlled by the high level outputs of these comparators 18-21, whereby the average luminance, intermediate luminance and minimum luminance are automatically judged according to the differences between the maximum and minimum luminances and are outputed, and the exposure is determined without requiring skill.
