Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve shock resistance by supporting a solar cell element by erecting a resilient projecting section from the bottom of a case. CONSTITUTION:An another main surface 9 of a substrate is made the same level as an opening surface of the case 6 under a condition that the projecting sections 8 are formed in the same height from the bottom of the plastic case 6 and contacted with an insulating film 5 for protecting the element. With the projecting sections 8, the diameters are small, and they have resilience in the vertical and horizontal directions. The case 6 has a stepped section 9, the inner circumferential side is filled with adhesives 10 and the case is supported resiliently. Lead wires 11a, 11b are glued and sealed 13a, 13b through the small holes 12a, 12b of the case 6. According to this constitution, the element is not broken even when a mechanical shock is applied onto the surface of the substrate.
