CONSTITUTION:Projecting flights 34 are provided on the circumferential surface of a sleeve 27 of the 1st developing device corresponding to the first color in two color copying in such a way as to assume an angle theta with respect to the axial line X of the sleeve, thereby forming channels 35 between these. With such constitution, the distance Y between the surface of a photoreceptor and the outside circumference of the flights 34 decreases and counter electrode effect improves accordingly, and therefore the edge phenomena around the copied images are suppressed.
