Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate noise caused by exhaust pulsation and control properly air fuel ratio by smoothing output signals of an oxygen sensor provided in exhaust while rotational speed of an engine is low.
CONSTITUTION: A rotational speed detecting circuit 35 detects low speed rotation of an engine to generate the output signal of the low speed rotation, turns on a switching element 31 and turns off a switching element 32. Thus, the output signal Va of a sensor enters a circuit 33, is smoothed by a resistance R and capacitor C and sent to the input of a comparator 34 as smoothed signal Va' not reaching comparative voltage Vref. Thus, effect of noise caused by exhaust pulsation in the region of low speed rotation of the engine can be eliminated.
