Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the yield of slit machining by reciprocating a blade applied with ultrasonic wave oscillator and the nozzle to be machined relatively to the direction of width perpendicular to the direction of slit at a constant period. CONSTITUTION:Blade 3 of working device having ultrasonic wave oscillator is applied to the upper surface of a nozzle 4 of quartz or the like, through toner 5(SiC) of about 300 mesh, and the slit is machined by making these blade 3 and nozzle 4 reciprocated laterally by a small distance at a constant period.
