Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable effective countering of changes in the internal capacity in a wider range by providing a gas-liquid housing container having a connecting port with a hollow body close to the upper end thereof and a small-diameter tubule or the like having the lower end thereof open close to the bottom of the container and the upper end thereof open to the air. CONSTITUTION:This internal capacity measuring apparatus has a gas-liquid housing container 1 having a connecting port 1a with a hollow body A to be measured close to the upper end thereof, a small-diameter tubule 2 having the lower end thereof open close to the bottom the container and the upper end open to the air and a mechanism 3 for forcibly raise the level of a liquid housed to feed the hollow body A with gas. With such an arrangement, a head difference can be produced between the level of the liquid in the container 1 body and that in the tubule based on the rise in the pressure with the feed of the gas. The head difference decreases as the internal capacity of the hollow body A grows large but so hard to become zero to enable the measurement of the internal capacity in a wide range.
