Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent light emitting from being reduced even if power voltage is low continuing the oscillation and voltage raising operation of a DC/DC converter for a fixed period after completing charging to a main capacitor then opening a bias circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a switch is turned on, a DC/DC converter composed of an oscillation transistor TR3, a transformer 4, a resistance 5, and a diode 6 starts oscillation by the momentally turning on of a start switch 8 and the secondary voltage of the transformer 4 is rectified by the diode 6 and applied to a main capacitor 7. When charging to the capacitor 7 proceeds, TR3 is suppressed, the converter 4 is stopped and a neon tube 17 is put on. When the voltage of a power source 1 being reduced, lighting of the ready light 17 turns on a TR18 and a timer circuit operates for a fixed period, the converter 4 continues to operate through a TR9 in this period. Therefore light emitting is prevented from being reduced even in this case.
