Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain required highly accurate reflection characteristics at the removal of wavelength dispersion in optical fiber transmission by specifying the film thickness of a waveguide line formed on gratings attached on a base plate and controlling the reflection characteristics of the waveguide line while monitoring them. CONSTITUTION:Grating 11-16 to equalize the group delay time difference generated when the light with a subscribed wavelength width from a light source is transmitted through an optical fiber with length (l) and wavelength dispersion (s) are formed on a light waveguide line 1 attached on a base plate 1.
