Abstract
PURPOSE:To use a duplicated device of existing and waiting systems alternately, by storing a system which is used as the existing system before the power suuply interruption through the use of a holding type relay, identifying the recording state of the holding type relay at the next application of power supply, and taking the system being the waiting system as the existing system to constitute the existing and waiting systems. CONSTITUTION:A holding type relay 6 is of magnetic holding type or mechanical holding type and the relay holds opening or closing state of a contact CT even if the power supply is interrupted. When the power supply is applied, a state deciding circuit 7 checks the presence of ground on either of a holding type relay output line 6A or 6B. If a processor 2B is the existing system at the operation before, ground is given on the output line 6B to make a flip-flop controlling line 8B high in level. Since this signal resets a flip-flop 4 via an OR gate 9B, a selector 3 selects a processor 2A as the existing system.
