CONSTITUTION:The hot-rolled wire rod 11 is shaped into the spiral coil 15 by the loop former 14 and received by the upper chain conveyer 19 to make the loops align in a predetermined pitch, held in perpendicular state and carried to direction ''a''. The coil 15 crrives to the blast air passage 38 and receives regulated cooling by air blast. The conveyer 19 is supported and guided by the upper rail 22 on the frame 18 and the coil is securely held from its inside without sagging. While the lower chain conveyer 23 supported and guided by the lower rail 27 is synchronously circulated supporting the coil 15 in floating state between the leg rollers 26. Thus, the coil 15 can be always held and carried without lapping etc.
