Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an image having no fog, clear-cut lines and a high resolution even for the printing of several hundreds of sheets, by using a ZnO photoreceptor having the uneven amplitude of a specific height on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The microminiature ZnO particles having grain sizes of 0.2-0.3mu and the binding resin are mixed up in a ratio of 70:30-75:25 and then coated on a supporter. Thus a ZnO photoreceptor is obtained with a height of <=2mu secured for the amplitude of the surface unevenness. This photoreceptor is put into an inlet 29, then wound around a drum 20 and electrified by a charged corotron 21 to receive an image exposure with the light passed through an image exposure lens 22. Then the photoreceptor is developed through a developer 26 and torn off from the drum 20 to be fixed with pressure through the 1st fixing device 32. Thus a print master is obtained. This print master is wound again around the drum 20, electrified by the corotron 21, exposed uniformly by a lamp 25 and developed by the device 26. Then a toner image is transcribed to the transfer paper 36 by means of a charged corotron 27. The photoreceptor is then ejected to a paper ejection tray 37. Then the undesired photoreceptor is ejected to a tray 34 through an ejection roller 33.
