Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform copying, sorting or heap up efficiency in order of supply by transferring the toner images obtained on a photoreceptor by simultaneous exposure of two sheets of juxtaposed originals followed by development onto two sheets of continuously supplied transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:The originals A and B on a platen 1 are irradiated by an optical system 2 and in succession the latent images of the two originals A and B are formed on an electrostatic drum 3. After the latent images A and B are developed in a developing device 4, they are successively transferred on two sheets of transfer paper sent front a supply tray 5. Two sheets of the transfer paper are sent in succession to a transfer part, where the two toner images on the electrostatic drum are transferred successively onto this transfer paper. The first transfer paper is discharged to the outside of the machine after fixing and the next transfer paper is temporarily stored in an intermediate tray 9 after the fixing. At the next copying, the paper is sent from this intermediate receiving tray 9, thence new transfer paper is also sent, thus both side of the transfer paper are transferred with the images successively.
