Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the image of a book-shaped original on both faces of transfer paper so as to make the relation of surface and the rear surface between the original and the transfer paper the same by continuously carrying the transfer paper from an intermediate tray and the transfer paper supplied from a paper supply mechanism to a photosensitive drum and simultaneously executing transfer on both sheets of transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper from the intermediate tray 42 and the transfer paper supplied from the paper supply mechanism 27 are continuously carried to the photosensitive drum 8 so that the transfer is simultaneously executed on both sheets of transfer paper. And the transfer sheet resupplied from the intermediate tray 42 is ejected and the transfer paper supplied from the paper supply mechanism 27 is inverted so as to be reversely carried to the intermediate tray 42. Thus, the image of the book-shaped original can be transferred on both faces of the transfer paper so as to make the relation of the surface and the rear surface between the original and the transfer sheet the same. Since two sheets of transfer paper are continuously supplied so that the transfer is simultaneously executed with respect to the book-shaped original, the both-face page continuous copying of the book-shaped original can be more rapidly executed.
