PURPOSE:To compensate an offset voltage, by picking up an output of a differetial amplifier amplifying the output of a solidstate image sensor during the nonsignal period of the image sensor and feeding back the output to the differential amplifier via an amplifying circuit and a volage storage circuit. CONSTITUTION:During nonsignal period in which a solidstate image sensor 3 does not transmit an original video signal d for one line's share of main scanning, a section display signal f of a control circuit 2 transmitting a video signal transmission start signal b to the image sensor 3 turns on a switch 5, then the output h of an operaional amplifier 9 inputting the output of a differential amplifer 7 charges up a capacitor C2. An operational amplifier 12 amplifies a voltage of the C2 and the output holds a capacitor C3 of a voltage storage circuit 13 at a voltage k and it is inputted to the plus side of the amplifier 7. On the other hand, during the transmission of a video signal d, the switch 5 is turned and the voltage k is held since the value of the capacitor C3 and the resistor 9 is made larger. Thus, an output always constant is fed back to the amplifier 7, the offset voltage can be compensated automatically.
