Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the watch display corresponding to the up and down action in correcting operation without increasing segments, by adopting sequential indication in displaying selected correcting digits. CONSTITUTION:In the case one digit is corrected in an output control circuit 52, if a digit correcting mode signal S81 rises at a time point t0, signals S541-S545 become a logic ''0'' until a clock signal S22 for sequentially and intermittently switching the inputs to DFF541-545 rises at a time point t1. Output signals S531-S535 of AB selectors 531-535 become a logic ''1'', and S521-S525 become a logic ''0'' via gates 521-525. Gates 52a-52g are closed, all display signals S5a-S5g become a logic ''0'', and the display disappears. When S22 rises at the time point t1, the signals S541 is inverted in the selector 531, the gate 52a is opened by the output of the gate 521, a signal S4a is outputted as the S5a, and a segment (a) is displayed. The same operation is repeated until the signal S81 becomes a logic ''0'' at the time points t0-t6, and display is sequentially performed.
