Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the current to be measured with high fidelity, by magnetically coupling a main circuit conductor and a shunt circuit conductor by using a wound core comprising magnetic material so that the polarities of the generated magnetic fields are opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:A ferrosilicon cut core 8 is inserted into the shunt circuit conductor 5 which is wound in a coil shape in advance. The main circuit conductor 4 is inserted in the cut core 8. The shunt circuit conductor 5 which is coated by an insulating material is wound around the core so that the magnetic polarity which is to be generated is opposite to that in the main circuit conductor. The main circuit conductor 4 and the shunt circuit conductor 5 are magnetically coupled. A current IS which is flowed in the shunt circuit conductor 5 is detected by a current detector 3, and the current in the main circuit, i.e. the current to be measured IT is measured. In this constitution, the current can be measured with high fidelity.
