Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to close a water feed line automatically when the internal pressure of a line rises abnormally by installing two water pressure responding parts which respectively ract to the pressure on the inlet flow side and the pressure on the outlet flow side in the captioned (water supply control) unit installed in a water feed line.
CONSTITUTION: A water feed line 3 installed between a water supply part 1 at a higher place and a water receiving part 2 at a lower place is provided with inlet flow control valves 5W7 at water head points H1WH3 respectively. Each control valve 5W7 is provided with water pressure responding members 8 and 36 which detect the pressures on the inlet and outlet flow sides and control the opening and closing of valve. The water pressure responding member 8 is equipped with a valve body 29 which closes a line 27 when the pressure on the inlet flow side decreases and an upward force acting on the pressure receiving member 32 is reduced. The water pressure responding member 8 is provided with the function of lowering a valve body 20 for each control valve 5W7 with a differential pressure receiving area when the line 27 is closed, allowing the valve body 20 to contact a valve seat 13. On the other hand, the water pressure responding member 36 is provided with the function of closing a valve seat 38 with a valve body 39 and lowering the valve 20 when the pressure on the outlet side increases and an upperward force acting on a pressure receiving member 40 increases.
