Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the setting change of elevation in addition to suppression in a motor voltage regulator for a regulating instrument or the like by sliding a slide element on a wire which connects both ends of elevation and suppression taps to generate an output voltage. CONSTITUTION:A slide element which contacts with a wire 6 is made slidable by a motor M and AC output voltage EO is taken out from an output terminal 72 which connects the output terminal 71 of the slide element S with the input terminal 12 of a wire 2. Suppression taps 31...3n and elevation taps 41...4n on the wire 2 are selected and changed over by switches S1 and S2 on the basis of the voltage Ei applied to the terminals 11 and 12 and the voltage corresponding to the difference between taps is applied to the wire 6. Then the voltage EO obtained by adding the voltage corresponding to the position of the slide element S to the one corresponding to the position of an elevation tap 4j corresponding to the level of the terminal 12 of the wire 2 is outputted from the terminals 71 and 72.
