Abstract
PURPOSE: To scrape out only the solder skims without scraping out molten solder by scraping the solder skims stagnating in the upper layer of the molten slag to one end side in a solder vessel with a skimmer, and scraping these to the outside of the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: After the solder in a solder vessel 1 is melted by the heating elements in the bottom part of the vessel 1, a motor 10 is driven to run a skimmer 3. The skimmer 3 scraping together the solder skims in the upper layer of the molten solder abuts on a guide plate 5 and ascends along the slope thereof. At the time when the solder skims and molten solder scraped together in the leading end part of the skimmer 3 bent to a V shape shift from the top end of the plate 5 to a separating bar 7, they fall into between the plate 5 and an inside wall 4. The solder skims gradually overflowing on the bar 7 are scraped out by the skimmer 3, and collide against a tapping bar 12, by which they are forcibly dropped and are recovered into a solder skim box 6.
