Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily separate a pattern body clearly from a film shielding layer, by constituting a film shielding layer above a special pattern releasing layer set on the surface of a pattern body.
CONSTITUTION: A pattern separating layer 11 is formed on the surface of a pattern main body 10 for reduced pressure casting by means of a proper coating method with materials easy to change their physical properties such as dry ice or ice. In the next place, a liquidized film 12a is sprayed onto the surface of such pattern separating layer 11 by means of a spray gun, etc. and solidified there so as to form a film shielding layer 12. The pattern constituted through such processes is used as a conventional pattern for reduced pressure casting. When the pattern is drawn out of a mold, the pattern releasing layer existing in the space between the surface of the pattern main body 10 and the film shielding layer 12 is changed in physical property and liquidized and/or vaporized so that the separation of pattern from the mold can be easily conducted.
