Abstract

CONSTITUTION: After a thin solid layer 7 of a material easily causing physical change is formed on a pattern 2' having no draft, molding sand 3 is charged and packed thereon. After the packing of the molding sand 3, the material of the solid layer 7 liquefies or evaporates to form a small clearance between the pattern 2' and the mold surface. Hence, this turns out that the pattern surface and the mold surface are respectively in an entirely free state; therefore, the mold of intricate shapes may be easily parted from the pattern 2'.
