Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-absorptive reactor having a high heat utility and also free of damage by local overheating by providing a combustion chamber inside of the reaction chamber of the heat-absorptive reactor and also a regenerating chamber outside the reaction chamber. CONSTITUTION:The combustion chamber 31 by which heat is supplied to a reaction chamber 41 is provided in the inside section of the reaction chamber 41 filled with a catalyst 45, whose one end is provided with a raw material gas inlet nozzle 6 and the other end is provided with a reaction porduct gas outlet nozzle 7. And, a regeneration chamber 51 is provided by which the sensible heat of reaction product gas formed in the reaction chamber 41 is transtmitted to the reaction chamber 41 while introducing the reaction product gas to outside is provided in contact with the outside of the reaction chamber 41. The heat-absorptive reactor has good thermal efficiency because all heating surface inside the reactor can be uniformly heated and also is free of damage because of no local overheating.
