Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision lens array through simple operation by forming a spherical lens array sheet in one body by using a metallic mold when forming an array used for the image sensor of a copying machine, etc., and by forming an array by packing a material having different refractivity. CONSTITUTION:A spherical lens array sheet 1 consists of a thin plate part 3 and a spherical part 2 and is formed in one body with a metallic mold by using, for example, polycarbonate resin. This sheet 1 is partically cut where respective spherical lenses 2 overlap each other, and closely cemented to form an array. Thus obtained sheets 1 are arranged successively at prescribed intervals and surrounded with transparent plates 6 and side plates 7. Holes 4 of the sheets 1 are used to align the optical axis of each lens array. Then, gaps between the sheets 1 and a gap between the trensparent plate 6 and the sheet 1 are filled with epoxy resin 6, for example, to form the spherical lens array.
