Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce intrusion of heat and to curtail consumption of the liquid helium of a supercryogenic vessel by a method wherein reflecting plates are provided inside of radiant heat shielding plates. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting plate 18 made of aluminum is provided on the low temperature side of the shielding plate 6, and is affixed inside of the shielding plate 6 with rivets 19. The reflecting plate 18 is divided into plural sheets and are made to have gap mutually between them to eliminate the difference of thermal shrinkage to be generated by the deflection of heat and to facilitate evacuation to obtain a vacuum.
