Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the unnecessary consumption of fuel in engine stalling or the like by starting a fuel pump immediately after an ignition switch is on and rotating the fuel pump only when an engine is rotated after a starter switch is opened.
CONSTITUTION: When an ignition switch 21 is closed, a set signal is inputted into an FF23 temporarily by a circuit of a condenser C and a resistance R, and the Q- output thereof is brought to "1" to open an AND gate 24. Consequently, a fuel pump 26 is started for rotation. Subsequenetly, when a starter switch 22 is on, its "1" signal is supplied to a fuel pump 26 via an OR gate 25, and the pump 26 is kept rotating even after the reset of the FF23. Meanwhile, when an engine is stopped, since engine pulses Ne are intermitted, the rotation of the fuel pump 26 is immediately stopped. That is, for engine stalling or the like, the fuel pump 26 is immediately stopped for preventing the unnecessary consumption of fuel.
