Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily exchange an M:N transmission between remote stations (RS), by providing a transmission control part having a microprocessor, on a data station of a loop system data highway system. CONSTITUTION:The first RS21 and dhe second RS22 are connected to a master station (MS1). A data transfer to the RS22 from the RS21 is executed through a repeating buffer 64 of the MS1. From the MS1, ''polling 1'' is outputted to the RS21. The RS21 outputs ''connection request 2'' to the RS22 through the repeating buffer 64 of the MS1. The RS22 outputs ''connection OK 3'' to the RS21 through the repeating buffer 64 of the MS1, recieves ''data 4'' through the buffer 64, and outputs ''data OK 5'' to the RS21 through the buffer 64. The RS21 returns ''disconnection 6'' to the MS1 since a dada transfer has ended. In this way, a data exchange by an N:M transmission between RSs is executed.
