Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent capsules from breakage and from leakage of heat accumulating material sealed in them, by locating the sealed end of the capsules in which heat accumulating material is sealed above the liquid surface of heat medium in a heat accumulating container.
CONSTITUTION: The heat medium is sealed in the heat accumulating container 5, to which a heat collector 3 and an air conditioner 4 are connected by pipes 9W12. The capsules 7, filled with heat accumulating material 8 and fitted with loose lids 13, are juxtaposed, the lids 13 are located above the liquid surface of the heat medium 6, and dried air 20 is used to fill up the space above the capsules 7, that is in the upper part of the heat accumulating container 5. Nitrogen and argon gas and the like can be used, instead of the air 20. The put on liquid such as silicon oil and transformer oil can be laid on the surface of heat accumulating material 8 in the capsules 7.
