Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide constant spring back force of a gas spring regardless of higher or lower temperature, by making communication between two chambers of gas spring valve member controllable at both low temperature and high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Chamber 21 of the housing 13 and chamber 17 of the case 14 can be communicated with each other. Fixed member 20 is formed to its one end with an engaging portion 23. Valve member 24 is made of bimetal which can change its form according to the temperature, and one end of it is engaged with the engaging portion 23 of the fixed member 20 and the other end is always energized to direct to the seating portion 26 of the fixed member 20 by way of the spring 25 engaged with the valve member 24.
