Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a laser gun of small size and light weight capable being practically used for a game and a sight by associating a laser unit for operating a small size laser tube by using a laser power source using a piezoelectric element with a model gun or a gun. CONSTITUTION:When the trigger 10 of a gun is pulled, a hammer 1 is hitted by a lever 9 to apply pressure to a piezoelectric element 2, which thus generates high voltage. The high voltage generated from the piezoelectric element 2 is applied to a laser tube 4 to discharge between the anode 5 and the cathode 6 of the tube 4, thereby allowing optical resonators 7, 7' to oscillate the laser and to produce a laser output 8. When this laser unit is mounted in a model gun, the tube 4 is so installed that the optical axis of the laser output 8 becomes in parallel with the barrel of the gun, and when it is used as the sight of the gun, its trigger 10 is formed with two steps, the first of which is constructed to drive the lever 9 and the hammer 1, and the other of which is constructed to perform the original roll of the trigger.
